Santa Cruz Mountains Challenge

The ride takes place Saturday July 21, 2018

This is the Santa Cruz Cycling Club’s 20th annual fundraising bike ride. Funds go to support local grants and education programs. SCCCC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.


On-line registration is open until event reaches 650 rider limit or until  10:00 pm PDT on July 19, 2018.

-Pre-registered riders and in-person registration may check in Friday July 20th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Epicenter Cycling 1730 Mission Street, Santa Cruz.

-In-person “same day” registration will be open July 21st Saturday morning on UCSC campus with parking available at Core West Parking beginning 6:00 am.

Rest Stops and End of Ride Meal

 All rest stops will have snacks and water and electrolyte replacement drinks to carry you through the day. Lunch is also provided. After ride meal at the end consists of burritos, salad and ice cream.

Event Photos

Photocrazy will be out on the routes taking photos of every rider.  Take note of time when passing photographer for easy search after the event.

What: Students’ Dig Day (volunteer trail work)
When: Monday, February 19 (President’s Day), 8:45am-1:00pm
Why: Teaches wholesome trail practices
Where: DeLaveaga Park (see on map) Meet at baseball fields
How: Hosted by MBOSC, Sponsored by Cycle Works

What a better time to host a special Dig Day for students than President’s Day!? Join us for some good times working hard, and feel good knowing you’re giving back to the trails. Cycle Works Santa Cruz is sponsoring the day, so expect the very best in hospitality including pastries and Verve coffee in the morning, hearty lunches and post-dig snacks from Summit Store, refreshing beverages from New Bohemia Brewing, and a whiz-bang celebratory raffle!
